Hafele’s Giara Collection adds elegance and style to any home decor. These authentic handcrafted lever designs, inspired by classic European architectural styles, are hand-cast in either solid Silicone Bronze or Britannium.

Giara Bronze finish

Bronze is composed of copper and zinc and its surface is extremely resistant to wear and corrosion. This classic material is commonly used for creating fine hardware and statues. A brown patina is added to the exposed Bronze surface, which makes the hardware appear to have a "living finish".

Giara Britannium finish

Britannium is a silvery solid base metal similar in characteristics to Pewter, but it is harder. It is composed of tin, antimony, copper, zinc and silver. The use of Britannium goes back to the middle ages where it was used to produce sword handles. Today Britannium is widely used for the manufacture of tableware as well as the production of the well-known Oscar® statues. The material is not
lacquered and this "living finish" actually increases its charm with wear to a warm light golden silver.
